Welcome to Highland Hot Cakes!
We are a small Highland home bakery based in Inverness and specialising in cupcakes – of the most scrumptious kind! These are handmade with quality ingredients and can be decorated in a variety of styles to suit your tastes. A range of flavours and special diets are catered for.
But perhaps most important of all – they are just there to enjoy! For birthdays, christenings, weddings, corporate functions or just to treat yourself – there is a cupcake for every occasion. We also provide novelty and other cakes for all types of celebration.
Forget mass-produced cakes and delve into the world of the home made, individually designed, quality cakes that we provide!

You may not have received a reply from us but we have now fixed the problem and hopefully a new and expanded kitchen will be fully operational very soon so please watch this space!

Our Cupcakes
No matter what the occasion, we have cupcakes to suit.
We can provide the large cupcakes (muffin size cases) or standard fairy cake size. Cakes can also be personalised with names or ages for example.
Novelty & Celebrations
Subject to at least a week’s prior notice, we can provide almost any style of celebration and novelty cakes.

Cupcakes can be themed by colour, flower, animal, type of party and if you had a particular design in mind just ask – we are developing new styles all the time.

Flavours & Ingredients
We use only high quality ingredients and free-range eggs.
We also recognise that some customers are willing to pay the premium required for organic goods and can provide organic cupcakes and cakes on request. Please note that these will be priced individually.
Weddings
The traditional wedding cake now has a rival! We can provide amazing wedding cupcake towers. These can be provided with or without a top tier of a single cake in your choice of flavour and in a design to suit the cupcakes and can be up to 7 tiers tall.
These make a fantastic and more unusual alternative to the traditional cake and ensures your guests each have their own cake to take away or eat on the day!
Pricing & Delivery
There is a minimum order size of 6 cupcakes and pricing will depend on the complexity of the designs you choose (for example, more intricate flower decorations). All prices include the packaging – in a white or pink cupcake box.
Wedding cupcakes will be priced according to design, flavour and top tier choices.
